Create a Stockpile
Stockpiles are optional, but you must create at least one stockpile to use target scheduling.
- In the Setup Schedule > Locations tab, drag the Stockpile icon to the 2D Canvas.
- In the Name field on the Location Properties pane, type a name for the stockpile.
- Choose whether there are No starting balances, or whether the starting balance comes from the Data grid or a CSV file.
- If you want to change the image that is displayed for the stockpile in the 2D Canvas, right-click the stockpile image in the Location Properties pane.
- To choose a new colour for the stockpile, select a new colour in the Colour list.
- To choose a colour at random for the stockpile, click Randomise colours.
- To choose a new image for the stockpile, click Load custom image...
- Navigate to, and select, the image you want to display for the stockpile and click Open.
The Choose an image form appears.
The new image is displayed in the 2D Canvas.

If you choose Data grid the Stockpile balance values data grid is displayed in the Location Properties pane. If you choose CSV file, the Open CSV file button becomes available and a CSV file field appears. You use the Ellipsis button in the CSV file field to select the CSV file that contains the starting balances. You use the Open CSV file button to view the CSV file specified in the CSV file field.
Tip: You can quickly create multiple stockpiles by holding CTRL, selecting the stockpile icon in the Locations pane, then clicking in the 2D Canvas the same number of times as the number of stockpiles you want to create.
